Pulling away with Pro Pilot

Hello all.

This is my 1st post so if this question has already been asked then I do apologise.

I collected my new Leaf last month, 1st EV. When Pro Pilot is activated on the motorway in heavy traffic the car will come to a standstill as expected. But sometimes when moving forward the car will move off itself but mostly the dash says press + to follow the car in front. This happens every time I stop.

Can anyone please explain why this happens and how to overcome this?

Welcome. Pro Pilot will only resume by itself if traffic starts moving again within 3 seconds. After that you have to press Resume.

or press the accelerator and it will resume

I hadn't noticed that. Thanks. I don't find myself in stop & go traffic often, happily.
