After market for the win!

Given that there are after market batteries at half price for almost all laptop and cell phone brands out there, I imagine a juicy order like a full replacement of Leaf batteries 10 years from now won't be a missed opportunity for whomever has the best battery technology at the time.

hmmmm...I've been driving for almost 40 years and every one of my personal cars has been a hatchback (the wife drives the family sedans). The LEAF is the first one that's actually been fun to drive so I'm thrilled. It gets me to work and home, runs errands, and will haul building materials when I need them. The thing that became obsolete was my BlackBerry, which wouldn't talk to the LEAF. So, I had to replace it with an Android phone (which I should have done ages ago anyway).
