Detailed EVSE standards available?

Being a power electronics engineer myself, I'd like to look into the different EVSE standards, especially related to CCS/Chademo, for semi-obvious reasons. I know Dala and Johannes Hübner have been making some things and some (all?) of this may be open source, but I would just like to read through how CCS and Chademo actually work instead of browsing code and schematics implementing a small part of the specification. I'm not talking about a brief overview but on a relatively high technical level.

Does this exist in an open/free format? I have tried to google it, but all I end up with is some overview material.
