First, they replaced the heat pump control module since there were multiple "communication error" codes and that's what a TSB suggested they fix first since it was the least expensive part, but that didn't work. They then determined the AC compressor was the problem which ultimately fixed it. Mighty expensive, but whatever, it's fixed.
