I'd contact Nissan Customer Care and ask them directly, when I did that, they started the buyback process for our 2016 SV without me even asking.

We should be turning in our 2016 SV in the next week or so, I was told the check was approved and on the way. This is going to turn out to be a MUCH better financial outcome than a new battery would have been, as the mileage charge for us amounted to only $3700. We leased the car in January...

Our Nissan dealer never offered us a loaner, so I guess you're lucky there. I'd probably decide it was a great time to tour the National Parks of the West if I was given a loaner for six months. :) We're now on month 8 of waiting for a new battery, and our dealership still can't get an ETA...

We've been waiting for the battery for our 2016 SV since October, so I find 5 months to be ridiculously optimistic on the part of your dealer. Dealership contacted me yesterday to say they still have no ETA, and I'm working on getting the final paperwork to Nissan Arbitration for our buyback offer.

After a lot of test drives in the last week, I think we're going to land on a Bolt EUV to replace the LEAF. My wife liked the Ariya too, but it's just stupidly expensive, I could buy a Model Y Long Range for the same price after tax credit, have faster charging and like 130 more miles of range...

Thanks! Yes, the car is working fine, the charge time estimates on the dash and in the app continue to be insanely long though. At 78% SOC this morning it was saying it would need 14:30 at Level 1 to charge, 6 hours at 3.6, and 4.5 hours at 6.6, which seems crazy. There isn't a lot of public...
