Had a 2012 Leaf on order for delivery in mid-December. Read this info about the VSP being absent from the 2012 model. Went down to dealer (Santa Cruz Nissan) and they were unaware of the degrade as they had only taken delivery of a "few" 2012's and really hadn't noticed. Talked to their service...
