crisis re: the 7500 federal tax credit

I am a CPA and a leaf owner... As others have said the credit is non-refundable and it can't be carried forward. I don't know what your accountant was thinking, it has nothing to do with what you have already paid in. For you to get the full credit your Tax for the year just needs to be $7500...

How can I get a 480v port installed in my leaf?

I think you are wrong on me being SOL. When I was setting up carvings I asked the Nissan rep about this and he told me that dealerships would be able to install these ports in the future. I don't know if true or not, but it isn't logical for them not to be able to be installed.

How can I get a 480v port installed in my leaf?

I live in Tennessee and quck charging stations are popping up in the state, but I don't have the port in my leaf. Does anyone know when Nissan will start installing these or is there any third party way to get one?

Can anyone recommend a level 2 Home Charging Staton?

Ideas I have: 1. SPX - They told me the price is $729, but the wait time is 60 days. (max wait time) 2. Leviton - I have seen some on various sites for $999 including the kit. Are these the best deals out there at the present time? Is there a place to get a level 2 charger cheaper and...

My first run... Is 70 miles typical?

Yea, I figure this out last night. The guy at the dealership told me that the car automatically goes into eco mode when you are in drive. Obviously, he did not know what he was talking about. I have not had much time to read up on here because I never ordered my car. I test drove the demo...

My first run... Is 70 miles typical?

I just got my leaf 2 days ago. I charged the car in a free parking garage (level 2), I am not sure If the car was fully charged, but every bar was full and when I unplugged the charger the estimated range was 100 miles. I drove the car around this evening until I had a estimated 5 miles left...
