    Any suggestions for a refurbished Li-ion battery? Nissan says warranty expired even though it is only 5 years old (I am third owner). No one on Maui works on Leaf except Nissan.

    Nissan claims that the Li-ion battery has failed, and that the problem starting the day after a new key was programmed was a coincidence. I’m skeptical, but there is only one Nissan dealer on Maui so I don’t have any alternatives. New battery for a 2012 model would be over $10,000 so clearly not...
