    Thanks for the replies...So as I suspected, the cold weather will be a major factor to getting any great distance, keep an eye on the battery percentage and head for a 50KW fast charger long before the battery gets low.

    We are heading down south to Wales from Glasgow in out 62KWh Nissan Leaf at the end of February. I was thinking of stopping off at Preston 183 miles and plugging into a 50KW fast charger. How long will it take to charge ?

    Whats the best app/card to join for turning up to payable rapid charging points and can you use your debit card to pay. ie. Please tell me I don't need lots of cards from various companies to charge my car, is there a one fits all.
