GerryAZ - that is awesome news, the 24kwh pack used LMO and the 30kwh onwards use NMC as the battery chemical structure. So I would expect my 30kwh pack to have the same top charging voltage as your 62kwh one. I just need to wait a little longer and the PDM will probably change to constant...

Hay LeftieBiker - I totally agree, you would think the Leaf's own charger would charge to the correct Voltage. But as I say when it gets to 4.2v I get scared and turn it off! As I am controlling it - I am wondering if I am missing something in its configuration of can bus commands that tell it...

Thanks Sage, agreed with the CV and CC analysis - but I think the 30kwh pack is slightly different. I have read that essentially it is the 24kwh pack but they just utilise more of the capacity available by pushing the batteries a bit harder (hence the higher full pack voltage). No idea if that...

Okay thanks, pretty certain mine is taking the near 4.1v as fully charged as even if you charge at 4.2v the cells will settle lower than that. My Leaf must have been crashed straight off the driveway! Dave

Lol, hopefully this is gonna be good fun to drive - I am leaving the gearbox in, first and second gears should be pretty nippy as they are higher ratios than the Leaf is as standard. Third will probably be the go to gear for efficiency and overall driveability. Dave
