Thanks SageBrush there was good information at the Nissan website about lease end. Nissan uses a company to do the inspections and the company will come to my location to do the inspection. That's a big plus as I live in the woods in northeastern PA. Bruce

Unfortunately, Nissan along with Honda and Toyota will not permit selling the car to anyone other than the person on the lease. A possible way around this would be to reassign the lease. Bruce

I definitely cannot afford a home DC charger. I'll have to be content with 6.6kw. Bruce

Finally the message has gotten through my thick skull. The charger is built into the Leaf not the EVSE . Bruce

The summary so far: No one knows if we can charge a Leaf+ at more than 6.6kw via the J1772 receptacle. No one is concerned about this as they are satisfied with the 6.6kw charge rate. I am about to buy a second charger so I will order a 40 amp and then we'll have the answer. Bruce

Has anyone any experience with using a 40 amp level 2 charger on a Leaf +? If so, what was the kw charge rate? I have been googling to try and find the maximum charge rate that the Leaf+ will accept. No joy. Thanks, Bruce
