Must be version of it in EV-CAN else how leaf spy getting info (Unless from the dongle) I will try a few test with different car batteries and see if can spot a change with only a 12v voltage change

Does the Gen2+ (2013 or newer) have means to tell the PDM/Charger up to what voltage it will charge the 12v Battery ? Are any of the CAN buss messages relating to that. In Gen1 (2011/2012) was a wire that could alter the PWM signal to get effect of what it produced. Any wondering if any wiring...

@mafify How did you get on with SOC continuing to report back the SOC Was it just the 50B message that was need being sent or was their others needed ?

@mafify did you find a solution for this Im having same issue that after about 5min or less the BMS stops sending the SOC You still get voltage etc @Dala or any other what cmds do we need send the BMS so can keep it returning the SOC

@Turbo3 is their any why to use Leaf Spy to scan a Gen1 battery (2011/2012) I tried on Gen2 and works well But when I rewired for a 2012 battery does not get any readings

Yes 100% correct I swapped a battery over last week and used "Leaf Spy Pro" and worked well https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.Turbo3.Leaf_Spy_Pro&hl=en_NZ&gl=US The only hard part was the leaf spy menu system Had to work out how to turn on the error codes And know what one to clear
