Yes, I wish you could specify a charge limit, but instead I check the screen for how long it will take to charge to 75% and set a charge time based on that. Definitely more steps.

I used to do that until I read in the manual of that. B or d makes no difference if you're using e pedal.

Would it work to buy a cheap, used smart phone and then use Bluetooth to communicate with LEAFSpy? You wouldn't need mobile cell service. Greetings from a fellow Iowan.

I drive with e pedal and eco and never get anywhere near 5 and I always try to anticipate lights, and get regen, etc. I should come ride with you and see how you do it. LOL

I think it works to set the charging timer in the LEAF. You have to calculate how long it will take to charge. 75% is ready because it gives you that time number directly on the charging menu. But still a hassle. My JuiceBox charger is supposed to do that but isn't communicating with my app. I...

Also, it probably matters if you have LeafSpy open on your phone or have it closed. I would think the car would draw more power if it were constantly feeding LeafSpy. Right or not? Sue C
