    Megan Coilovers for 2nd gen

I went to the parts counter at my local Nissan dealership. I asked for all the suspension part numbers for a 2013 and a 2018. The struts and springs are different part numbers, as expected due to compensation for the increased weight of the 40 kWH battery. Otherwise, the upper strut mount and...

    Leaf suspension mods from Juke?

Jealous!!! I have a standing search on Craigslist to notify me if someone is selling their Juke Nismo Suspension. I would think it would be easiest to try out the Juke suspension as is to get a feel for the setup before swapping the Eibach springs in. That way you can get an idea of the lowering...

    Leaf suspension mods from Juke?

I am more than likely to try the OEM NISMO Juke struts and shocks with the OEM springs before I get some aftermarket springs. The existing LEAF struts and shocks are woefully under damped already. Definitely would be worse with higher rate lowered springs.

Nissan LEAF Light Bulb Mods: LEDs Anyone?

Anyone install LED bulbs for the signals? Do I need resistors for every corner (4)? Or could I just install a set of 2 for the left and right side?

    Leaf suspension mods from Juke?

That is a great price for wheels and tires. Question is what tires and what wheels? It wouldn't be for me since I re-used the 16x7 Enkei wheels from my Subaru (dual bolt pattern) with some 205/55-16 Cooper CS5 Ultra Touring tires (not LRR). My setup is 37.6 lbs each. Just curious what you have...

Nissan LEAF Light Bulb Mods: LEDs Anyone?

I have been steadily replacing all of the incandescent bulbs on my '13 SV w/LED headlights. I found the following lights are likely NOT CANbus since I used generic 5500k LEDs: License lights Running lights (the ones in the high beam) Running lights (the Amber ones on the side of the...

    Hack the CANbus?

Yup, I backed them as well. What do you want to mess around with? I want to: * restore the 200 ft/lbs of torque again (available on 2011-2012). * Decrease the power steering boost at higher speeds. * Telematics through Wi-Fi instead of the dead 2G cell via a Digi WiFi board. i.e. Remote warm...

Help me decide on best value Leaf

Agreed. The 2013. I went after the same question. Ended up making a decision on a 2013 SV with Quick charge and Premium packages. Both options were non-negotiable in my book. I ended up with an 11/2013 build for ~$8300 out the door

    Hack the CANbus?

This looks very promising. It is an Arduino unit which connects to the vehicle and can sniff and inject into the CANbus. Change one thing and find out what the ID is and maybe change it on the fly? http://jalopnik.com/theres-finally-an-affordable-plug-and-play-car-hacking-1792915832 Project...

    Leaf suspension mods from Juke?

There is a stronger aftermarket support for the the Juke. Buy the parts from the Juke install on the LEAF. Since the part numbers are the same across the board. We have a suspension system built for the 2900 lbs Juke on a 3300 lbs Leaf. No wonder it is soft and roll-y.

    Leaf suspension mods from Juke?

I'm a new owner of a used '13 SV and new to the forums, here is my 1st post. I have searched and could not find any references to this relationship. The Nissan Leaf part codes for the major suspension pieces match those of the Nissan Juke. Sure the part numbers are going to be different since...
