figured i would answer my own question, YES leaf spy pro runs fine using an emulator called ANDY on Win 8.1, i was able to reset the codes no problemo and more :)

So i just tried unplugging the battery for an hour, and IT WORKS NOW WTF !!! Is there more things that get reset if you leave it unpluged that long ? before i only did like 30 sec max

did last time i had this issue and even used a battery booster but no luck, the only diff now is that i can clear the codes with leaf spy pro, so ill do all that again and reset codes tonight

you think the battery 12V is dead? would the "BRAKE Control Mod Pwr Supply BR-53" prevent the car from charging? thats strange, i will try to get a battery booster. I charge my iphone 5s from the USB port, but today i didnt plug it so very unlikely to be the reason for not charging thanks !

unfortunately it was from a private dealer and was 6 month ago and they made me sign an AS IS / no warranty from us form, lesson learned i guess.. :(

Ya this is scary stuff, turns out the trunk cable rubber cap came off (probably from a stuff moving around in the back), they've dried it, put the cap back on and tape it real good. the code didnt come back after that and charging worked fine. If this issue comes back ill have to spend the $$...

Hi is there any plan to add a clearing error code feature like the leafspy has? my car throw codes randomly every month or so that prevent me from charging the battery until codes are reset, this would be a life saver :) here is my issue...

Oh geez, so i need to buy a bluetooth OBD2 adapter and an android phone ? is there an easier way? i've got the leaf stat app working fine, too bad it doesnt support code clearing grrrr

Question for you guys, the dealer got this resolved by clearing the codes, how can i do this on my own next time it happens to me? im not ready to spend a few grand on getting a cable removed yet. want to balance all my option first but need to drive the car until then

Ya i thought that was oddly high, what does GID represent? only thing i understand from the leaf stat app is SOC and SOH and obsiouly tire pressure at bottom, rest is chinese to me :cry: still waiting for stealership call back
