    Hood Release seems stuck/broken

Ok so I fixed the issue. I had to go through the charging port area. Remove the plastic shroud there, this was bait complicated and I damaged it a bit, but later on I saw that if you know the location of the clips etc it can be pulled out. Then remove that small light in the charging port area...

    Hood Release seems stuck/broken

The wire seems loose although I can hear it moving something. The hood does not pop up at all. I haven't tried extreme measures yet but maybe I do that next.

    Hood Release seems stuck/broken

I have tried that several times. Last night I sprayed some WD40 the best I could into the hood through a nozzle.

    Hood Release seems stuck/broken

I have this issue currently, not sure what happened but the cable moves freely and does not unlock or release the hood. I have tried everything I could find on this forum and the internet. I have tried going through the large door to no avail. Tried going below the car after removing the bottom...

Nissan Leaf Service at 30k miles

The only thing I would add would be to check the 12v battery, and re-grease the hood release mechanism. Since you do not have to do maintenance, the latch can become stuck from lack of use.... It happened to me!! Once I could not open the hood.. I have this issue currently. not sure what...

2013-2014 bar losers and capacity losses

No we don't. If it charged at work it reaches home at about 75% and we DO NOT charge the car. It goes to work again and charges there for free. Sometimes if we miss changing at work we charge at home. Also as long as we have about 40+ miles on the car we again go to work and charge as that takes...

2013-2014 bar losers and capacity losses

Never was the car left at 100% for over a few hours. 8AM it starts getting used and usually it is changed by 4-5AM. Really these batteries are that sensitive to charging and sitting at 100%?? BTW this is not everyday, if we have enough charge we DO NOT charge the car. But it goes on its trip to...

2013-2014 bar losers and capacity losses

Living in NorCal Bay Area, very nice cool temperatures. We see about seven or less 100F degrees days in a year. The battery temperature has almost always been in the 5 range and only saw it a few times on 6 in summers and start the day off with 4 bars on most winter days. Always parked and...

So, any speculation on charger size on 2018 Leaf

It is still 6.6kWh charger. so still at at 27.5Amps https://www.nissanusa.com/electric-cars/2018-leaf/ Faster estimated charge time based with 240-volt charging dock and 6.6 kW onboard charger, which is standard on all trims except S. Charge times may vary. Mileage estimates only. Range will...

    Cheap L2 EVSE by converting the 2013-14 Nissan L1 EVSE - $25

Very sure my 2014 came with 12AWG wire. So 20Amp should be no problem.
