Well it's a huge price for a very old car to start with, battery aside. As for risks, the 62kWh battery needs metal spacers/runners making up and fitting between the chassis and battery, as it's deeper, so not a straight swap like the lower capacity batteries are, so it would be good to see...

Thanks for that, The 30kWh battery seems to be the mystery, can't find a thing regarding it. Having watched my own 30kWh on Leafspy whilst discharging, what I can say is it's quite a different discharge curve to the 24kWh version.

I've seen the other thread, it's about mixing and matching modules within the same pack, this definitely wouldn't work as the chemistry and curves don't match. I've now had a conversation with someone in the UK who has actually done this and it works fine apparently. The car treats the modules...

Hello all, Has anyone done a module swap out within an existing 30kWh battery, replacing all the modules with newer 40kWh modules? My understanding is they are physically matched in size and as my 30kWh battery needs a failing module replacing anyway, I am considering if it might be feasible...
