Re: Official Hyundai Ioniq 5 topic

With charging rates of 150 kW or more, a 60 kWh pack is plenty big for road tripping AFAIK. On longer road trips, a good strategy would be cycles of 70 mph driving for 3 hours, followed by 20 minutes of charging. Unless the trip is thousands of miles long, that's pretty reasonable. Unfortunately, n...

Re: The official "I got my Leaf" thread

Before buying the Leaf I drove the new Chevy Bolt EUV, it’s a nice vehicle except the interior really reminded my of the Chevy Trax, which my mom drives and she paid $16K for back in 2020, vehicle was brand new. Plus not getting the $7500 tax break made the decision even easier. Was it an LT or Pre...

Re: 2023 US market Leaf

The articles posted about the 2023 MY do not appear to confirm if the trims available will include any additional packages one could order. If SV Plus will come standard with ProPilot and 360 Camera, will it also come with a Bose system as an option? And will the S lowest trim, have a Cold Weather ...

Re: Market Adjustments?

I have started looking into the market for a new Leafs, and I am now learning about "Market Adjustments" on new vehicles. I hate it. I also hate that it's not transparent on Nissan's website when browsing all the dealerships. I hate that I can't just look at a sticker price and say "...

Re: Official Ford Mustang Mach-E BECUV topic

Not to seem annoying, but what on Earth is appealing about "leatherette" seats? Like actual leather, they are hot in the Summer and cold in the Winter. As they get old, they crack and split. They are easier to clean, I guess. Yeah easier to clean than cloth and cheaper than leather. I pre...

Re: Official Ford Mustang Mach-E BECUV topic

I bought a 22 Mach-E Select RWD with the Tech package a week ago and sold my 22 Leaf SV Plus to Carvana today. Total cost to upgrade? About $7k. It took about 2 months to get from the time a dealer posted the VIN on their website. Car was built about a month later and took another month to get it to...

Based on the info you gave us, it sounds like there's a problem with the Nissan EVSE. Ask the electrician if he is able to bring another EVSE to test your outlet? Did he use a GFCI breaker?

Re: Why would anyone buy a nissan leaf right now???

Chicago inventories actually building a little. Back up to 16 from 10 a few days ago. Anyone on the board have both a 2019 and a 2022 Leaf Plus? Do you feel the improved safety features work well? Beyond the USB C, any other feature differences worthwhile? I really can't tell any difference. I thin...
