Re: Removing Blink We-30

It just pops off. I had one until I got my Tesla and then I sold it.

Re: ABG: 2022 Nissan Leaf gets big price cuts across the board

It is actually more a marketing move than a price reduction. Nissan had been routinely giving incentives/rebates roughly equal to the msrp decrease. They are now simply moving it to be more visible.

Re: 2022 LEAF specifications

Why hitch your wagon to a dying protocol? CCS would make much more sense.

Re: Why would anyone buy a nissan leaf right now???

And one of the many reasons why I would never buy a Leaf. No TMS, no sale! First off, we need to correct a major error here. The LEAF does NOT have air cooled batteries. The Soul EV has air cooled batteries. There is no cooling of any kind that has been proven or shown on the LEAF. If you have to ca...

Re: My 2011 Leaf is 10-years old! Anyone else stayed with their original Leafs?

I would have bought mine (with new battery) after the 5 year lease was up but Nissan wanted a ludicrous sum to buy it ($12.5K). It sat on a dealer's lot for nearly a year after I turned it in and finally sold for $5K. Typical Nissan incompetence. Anyone else here on the forum still with their origin...

Re: What is going to be your next EV?

My choice was pretty easy, a Tesla Model 3 Long Range. Love the car! Don't miss the Leaf and it's handicapped battery!

Yep, it only took them a decade to decide that everyone else was right about needing a battery TMS... Anything Nissan would be a very hard sell for me these days...

Re: CHAdeMO connectors being squeezed out?

Nissan is on life support and CHAdeMo is not far behind almost everywhere but Japan, so unlikely is probably being overly optimistic... I’m under the impression that CCS and CHAdeMO use different communication methods and that, combined with Nissan barely staying afloat, makes it unlikely they’d off...
