This is correct.... as far as I can tell there is no top bottom or charge balancing on the leaf - it is in a continuous state of balancing. When you charge to 100% charging stops when any 1 cell reaches maximum - regardless of other cells being low.

For everyone else - Does resetting the BMS allow the car to drive more miles on a charge given it does not throttle the charging ? If so then I don't see any harm in owners with paid batteries doing it.
