I’m still waiting on the check but as soon as I agreed to the offer I was given a code for their vehicle purchase plan. Supposedly it is $1000 below invoice. I never asked for anything so it was somewhat of a surprise. I doubt if I take them up on it.

The buyback process has started. They fed me a story about how they just recently found out there weren't any more 30Kwh batteries being made but I managed to hold my tongue and go along with her. Texas lemon laws are pretty pathetic especially for used cars so I am preparing to take a beating...

Just a disappointing update after 7 and 1/2 months. Spoke with the dealer this week and he had no news other than they are still waiting on batteries for cars that are 6-8 weeks ahead of me. He didn't mention buybacks and I didn't either since I don't see how I can feasibly replace it.

I took the car to the dealership yesterday and they determined that there was an internal failure to audio unit. Replacement price is $2942. That's not happening so I guess I'm shopping for alternative solutions.
