My new battery dropped then increased back to 65.5Ahr or so (!) then dropped precipitously again. It's now back down to 62.1Ahr / 87.82 Hx but with 97.35 SOH. (?!) Weird behavior. I haven't been tracking it nearly as religiously as the pre-warranty days. :)

Per the warranty terms, you draw the line at 9 bars. Unfair? Yep maybe so. As specified and enforceable in the warranty? Yup, for sure. There is no other reliable/documented/official method of obtaining battery health information. If you had a Ford with a component out of warranty past...

I really don't see where you get that. A lot of people are upset that they didn't meet the warranty terms, but the warranty terms are clear; you left out a little bit above (the time) period, i.e. The only definitive language is "9 bars" and "60 months/60,000 miles." "approximately below...

I'm curious, why do you say it's incorrect? The a plurality (39) of 2011 4-bar losers lost the bar between 43.0 and 43.5; next highest (17) was 42.5 to 43.0 Ahr.

Is there any existing library out there to do basic LEAF canbus/evbus decoding over bluetooth? I'd really like to teach OpenEVSE to be able to monitor state of charge for example (by using an ESP32 in place of the ESP8266 it currently uses, to get the built in bluetooth support...)

My replacement battery had a precipitous drop in stats in the weeks after it was installed, held relatively steady all winter, and now seems to be magically improving in the warmer weather (!?) Weird, but I'll take it.

No guarantees but it certainly seems likely.

It is a bit low - of the 2013s I've seen one dropped at 36.81, but the other dozen or so dropped above 40Ahr.

Someone in the Facebook LEAF group just posted a 2016 4-bar loser with 16,192 miles 46.27 Ahr 57.43 Hx 114 QC 601 L1/L2 I'm ... shocked to see a 2016 with such dramatic loss. Build date 12/15. Arizona, but still.

Ok, this was pretty weird - short 4 block drive this morning in my 2012, and noticed the entire (or at least most) dash display blinked off then on again; then random orange warning lights started appearing & disappearing - traction, EV system, fuel gauge light (though fully charged). LEAFSpy...

See if your dealer can help, either with nissan corporate or with a little good will pricing of their own. Others tried BBB ... you could also try referencing the good will program they had going prior to the 2018 launch and then ended - obviously the "class action" business is not 100% set in...

Get the LeafSpy app and OBDII interface, and get the numbers out of the car - and also the official Nissan in-service date - and we can help more. It would also be good to know where it spent most of its 4 years prior to showing up at your dealer. I would not buy it (unless it's dirt cheap)...

After 9 days and 270 miles, I'm down to 63.91Ahr, 94.54Hx on the new battery. That's down 2.23Ahr in just over a week. I presume/hope this is just some early adjustment to the true state of the battery, otherwise I'll be back in replacement range by March! (which is, coincidentally, one month...
