It's all going to come down to price now. Since Nissan pushed tier 2 states back, the Focus EV will be in my city around the same time. It's very tempting, especially with the 6.6 charger and battery heating/cooling.

Now with the delay of Tier 2 of LEAF orders to "late summer 2011", that puts the Focus EV in direct competition with the LEAF next year in at least 5 markets.

Got mine too in NC. It doesn't make any sense. I live in Raleigh NC and the city has already begun installing charging infrasture, 50 charging stations in downtown by summer. Maybe we'll be able to order the Focus before we can order our Leaf. Sounds like Nissan has really screwed up big time!

Just confirmed with nissan online chat that I am in the December order group. I have asked for a waiver and they said they would enable it, however it would not be viewable in my dashboard until I receive permission to RAQ.
