Sorry for late response... the next morning, the car appeared to be as I would have expected it to be. It was off and had stabilized around 15-16 miles left to go. I do think she left it turned on but probably after left with about two bars or so it turned itself off but maybe it was a timer...
I cannot go to the airport b4 tomorrow... I just checked again, it seems to have stabilized at 16 miles. Hopefully this is still true tomorrow morning after I drop the kids at school/daycare... I'll keep you posted
Wife has been driving the LEAF for the past month or so.. today she takes the LEAF to the airport where she parks it (could NOT find the EV plug !?) so it's there sitting w/o charging. Earlier it had about 46 miles left. I dont know why I did this but I checked the android app and noticed 17...
i saw a black LEAF on woodruff rd last week in Greenville... we were like "good" LEAF and "evil" LEAF at a red light for a few minutes. super cool guy in the other LEAF waved by as I was turning... awesome encounter!
Really? come on, you are smarter than that... Do you really think any EV potential buyer out there would even think twice about such a purchase if they get convinced OEMs are abandonning the EV market ?
they are NOT stupid. Fear tactics work. They know it, and they will use it.
Im told Michelin has 100% OE placement on the US made LEAFs. the following link shows only the 17" are Michelins while the 16" are Ecopias. We'll know for sure in a few weeks I guess

No way !!! must be an honest mistake/careless omission on Faux News part I'm sure... They are so objective usually, such an omission would lead someone thinking they would have an agenda with special (oil) interests... what a ridiculous thought !
comparing worn out tires with brand new ones about handking is like comparing apples to oranges 8-)
thats the reason racing tires have minimum tread depth if any tread at all !!!
you cant go wrong with Michelins.
i'm not 100% clear on how these timers work. Here is what confuses me:
say I get to work @6:00am the car says it needs 4:30 to get to 80% and my timer is from 8:00 till 11:00
which scenario will happen?
a) it will only charge from 8:00 till 11:00 leaving me with 70% charge?
b) the car starts...
