My (presumably-unmodified) 2014 LEAF shows those exact same numbers, so it sounds like your setting may have gotten reverted at some point. Anyway, I am glad to find out about this. I am going to call the dealer tomorrow and ask them if they can do this to mine!

Are these numbers for before or after you had the dealer change the settings?

14.2 volts won't cook the battery. Most ICE cars run the 12v system continuously at 14.4v and the Leaf's 12v battery is just a normal automotive battery.

I have gotten scraping from rust on the rotors too, but it generally only makes noise when I am applying the brakes and not whenever I am driving as the VSP does.

I too hear what sounds a bit like brake scraping when moving slowly in my 2014 SL. I think it is actually the VSP (noisemaker) though, because if I go 1MPH, I get the noise, but if I drop the speed ever so slightly so the speedometer reads 0MPH, the noise goes away entirely.
