The official "I got my Leaf" thread

Enjoy your new Leaf! I bought a 2023 SV+ in November and have been very happy with it. I did have some weirdness with the 12V battery at 1026 miles. They replaced the battery and all seems to be good now (200 miles later. Yes, I know, I don't drive much these days!).

Why would anyone buy a nissan leaf right now???

I bought a 2023 SV+ in November and paid $38K. I will get the $7500 tax credit when we do our taxes in the next few months. So I don't really see that big of a difference between you and me, unless I am missing something. I also received $13K on my trade in (a 2016 Tiguan) and they offered NMAC...

Why would anyone buy a nissan leaf right now???

From what I have read, no, because it is built in Japan. If they start building them in TN, this might change.

    Window Fogging

Right. But I am thinking that it is winter and cold, and I am using the heat. This is how I discovered that turning the recirc off makes a difference.

2023 40 kWh Leaf Optimal Charge Level

Congratulations on your new car! I have a 2023 SV+ (purchased new in Nov) and a 2019 SL+ (purchased gently used in March). My son as a 2020 SL+, purchased in May (technically used but it had only 28 miles so like brand new). All of us just plug in and charge and really don't think about the...

    Window Fogging

I have also found that if you make sure the "recirc" button is off, the windows don't fog up as much.

Nissan removing Climate Control from EV App??

I talked to 3 different CS reps yesterday and they all seemed to have different amounts of knowledge and information. I suspect if you called back and talked to a different person, you would get a completely different answer. It seems the best approach is just to wait until the app starts...

    2023 Leaf S

Hi, welcome, and congratulations on your new car. I am sure you will enjoy it. Re: charging to 80% vs. 100%--you can read a million debates/discussions on this topic. I have a 2019 SL+ and a 2023 SV+. After reading endless discussions, I have come to the conclusion that the batteries on the...

New Nissan EV app is out!

The Nissan Connect EV & Services was working fine for me last Friday--I was able to turn the climate control on, warm the car up--everything was fine. But it has not been working since Monday Dec 5th. I just spent an hour on the phone with Cameron doing various troubleshooting things without...

    Is the 62KwH Leaf Louder?

Welcome to the forum and the Leaf family. I own a 2019 and a 2023 Leaf. Yes, the 2023 is louder than the 2019 but I am not going to let this drive me crazy. And if this is the "worst aspect of the car" then I think you should count yourself lucky! Seriously, how much do you drive in reverse...

The official "I got my Leaf" thread

If this is a new car, you must have Nissan Connect & EV services as a trial. That shows the charging estimate (which is what I think you are looking for, if I understand correctly). That's what I have been using on my new 2023 Leaf (and I also use on my older 2019 Leaf).
