    2019 Leaf Charge Timer Bug

Has anyone figured out a solution for the 2019 Leaf charging to lesser than 100%? With my 2015, I setup the timer with no start time and an end time of an hour or so later than my planned departure, which worked pretty well for targeting around 80%. Of course, if I didn't actually unplug at...

Reusing Leaf Winter Wheels on a Leaf Plus

Goldbrick -- I probably will use my a floor jack. I was just pointing out that the uneven surfaces on either side of the notched pinch welds would really wreak havoc with a scissor jack. With the floor jack and a notched puck, it will place uneven forces on the two sides of the notch which...

Leaf Plus EVSE -- what's supposed to be in the bag?

Thanks for the replies. Looks like someone removed the holder and adapter from my bag. The "holder" that I'm referring to holds the EVSE brick with the status LED's, etc, so it is not hanging and pulling on the plug. I'll call the dealer; hopefully they'll make it right. Jeff

Leaf Plus EVSE -- what's supposed to be in the bag?

I just traded in my 2015 SV for a 2019 Plus SL... and took a peek in the EVSE bag this morning. I found the following: * The cable itself, with the NEMA 14-50 plug on one end and the J1772 plug on the other * A bag of 4 wood screws * An instruction sheet for mounting the EVSE holder, with the...

Reusing Leaf Winter Wheels on a Leaf Plus

Based on wheel-size.com, it looks like the winter wheels should fit fine. I'll report back how it goes, and whether I'm able to relearn the TPMS Id's with leafspy. The pinch weld jack points are a little bit odd on the Plus, in that there is a bump that protrudes downward an extra 1/4" or so...

Reusing Leaf Winter Wheels on a Leaf Plus

I just traded in my 2015 Leaf SV for a 2019 Leaf Plus SL. I'm going to miss the 2015; there were some aspects of it that I liked better, but the range, performance, and features of the 2019 are definitely very nice. For the 2015, I had a separate set of 16" wheels with Blizzak winter tires. I...

    EV Connect down?

I also cannot refresh from the main screen in the app, but I found (rather accidentally) that I can refresh the status from the route planner screen. Accidentally because I never use the route planner, but inadvertently tapped it and saw an up-to-date charge status at the bottom of that screen...

Interest In A 12V Battery Upgrade Kit??

I have a 2015 SV (took delivery in Oct 2014). My original battery was mostly okay until about 2 weeks ago. I say "mostly" because I did have the issue where the upgraded 3G TCU would go quiet for weeks on end, although none of the other systems in the car were affected. As has been...

    iOS LeafSpy Pro Support

A reset of my iPhone (hold down home and power) seemed to fix the problem. Before that, I did try unplugging/replugging the adapter, which didn't help. In any case, I'm back up and running again. Thanks! Jeff

    iOS LeafSpy Pro Support

Is anyone having issues with LeafSpy Pro, BLE OBD adapters, and iOS 11? I have an LE Link BLE OBD adapter that has worked great for over a year. I hadn't used LeafSpy for a week or two after updating my iPhone6 to iOS11. The next time that I tried to open LeafSpy, it's as if it doesn't...

NissanConnect EV / Telematics Hardware Update, for the post-2G world

In the first week or so (maybe even two weeks?) after picking up the car, I had astericks only for the phone number on the info screen... all the other fields were filled in. Despite that, I still had no connectivity (couldn't update stations, couldn't login, etc.) During that time that...

NissanConnect EV / Telematics Hardware Update, for the post-2G world

I'm another "fuse pull/reinstall" success story. I haven't been able to connect to my 2015 Leaf remotely for almost month, since I had my TCU replaced on Dec 27th. The dealer was no help, and the EVConnect tech support was no help either (though the L1 tech on my case gets points for effort)...

NissanConnect EV / Telematics Hardware Update, for the post-2G world

An update after my earlier post... I still have never once been able to connect after the TCU upgrade on Dec 27th. (Everything was still working fine before the upgrade). I spent an hour on the phone with Nissan on Tuesday, then another half hour on Wednesday. I was told that I needed to try...

NissanConnect EV / Telematics Hardware Update, for the post-2G world

I had the TCU upgrade on Thursday (Dec 29th) by Boulder Nissan, on my 2015 Leaf SV purchased in October 2014. As I left, they told me I would need to wait 24 hours before I could log back in (on the "Carwings Settings" page). I guess there is some kind of activation that needs to happen...

    Speedometer calibration ?

I have a 2015 SV that came with 17" wheels. I recently switched them out for 16" winter wheels/tires, and tried to recalibrate. I tried +2.4%, +2%, -2%, -2.4% and the setting seems to have no effect on the dash speed. (I power-cycled the vehicle before driving after each setting change.) Has...
