Asking for Lemon Law protection on Monday

I actually have had a similar GOM issue (loosing 1 bar when parked) since the update. I assumed it was just a matter of Nissan changing the logic in the GOM to reduce the fuel bar so you are more conservative in your travels. I have not noticed a decreased amount of range but I am curious what...

    Nissan dealerships torturing LEAF batteries

If a dealer is overriding your timer setting (like the op) that is an issue but if they are just plugging in your car as part of their service procedure there is nothing wrong with that. You should take the 30 seconds to set the timer to 80% and be done with it. The occasional charge to 100%...

    DIY seat heaters

I was interested in that as well. They actual provided a warranty card that the "installer" is suppose to fill out (including mileage) and mail in. I filled it out myself and mailed it back in. I doubt anything will happen in the next three years but we will see.

    DIY seat heaters

I got them here. http://www.sportsimportsltd.com/single-seat-heater-kit-with-illuminated-5-position-thumb-dial-switch.html More expensive than the ebay models mentioned earlier but the switch, fast warm-up and and very warm high end temperature, sold me. I installed these years ago in my old...

    DIY seat heaters

They are not OEM but I like my switches very well. They look built in; similar to the switch for the headlight angle; and have 10, count them 10 different heat settings. 0-5 in 1/2 increments. Warning I did have to shave a little bit off the console to get them to fit but am very please...

Android LEAF app on Kindle Fire?

Correct you can copy apps via USB and enable the "Allow Installation of Application from unknown sources". But you need to APK file. Anyone care to use create a backup of the leaf application from their android device and post the APK here for those less fortunate.

No plans to release CarWings app for Windows Phone 7

Keith, How much pull do you have there at Microsoft. Try to get the marketing department involved as this could showcase Microsoft's environmental efforts. Considering the number of Charge Point they have installed on campus and the arrival of the leaf shuttle "99" it seems they could get...

Picking up Leaf on Thursday...any tips?

The idea I when I pick up in September is to go through AutoTrader.com. This might be subject to availability and not available everywhere but it is for me! Anyway you can receive an appraisal from your car and subject to a test drive confirm the price prior to picking up the Leaf. You have...

    Shipping suggestions

We used Dependable Auto Shippers http://www.dasautoshippers.com/car-shipping.html when moving from New York to Washington State. The process was very easy and no damage occurred during shipping, I would recommend their services. They did have valuation coverage which is sufficient for a used...
