    I believe it gets phased out after a company has manufactured 200,000 eligible cars. So it may be different for each company.

    Any electric lawnmower recommendations?

    Anyone have any suggestions/experience with an electric lawnmower? The house is on a 0.24 acre lot, so I'm not sure a battery-powered mower would be able to handle both the backyard and front yard.

    Car won't turn off

    Okay, so I didn't have to resort to disconnecting the 12 volt battery. I don't even have the tools to do it. Once the tow truck guy came, I tried to demonstrate that the car wouldn't turn off. And of course, it turned off. New problem: The car wouldn't go into Ready mode (the green icon)...

    This is happening to me right now, waiting for roadside assistance. I'm at 3332 miles. The dash toggles between "I-key system fault" and "visit dealer" and three warning lights are on: brake system warning light yellow, electric shift control system, and Vehicle Dynamic Control warning light...

    Was the solar panel a factor in your purchase?

    I'm really disappointed they didn't use the whole roof for a solar panel to trickle charge the main battery.

    "I Agree" message each time the car starts. Make it stop!!!

    The message goes away if you hit the driving range button twice (the triangle button on the steering wheel) Then you don't have to touch the screen at all!

    Window Tinting

    Ha. Yes, Crystalline is really light compared to other tints, but the reason I paid so much is because it is the best at keeping the heat out with 60% TSER (Total Solar Energy Rejection) I'm hoping this means I'll be able to go further without A/C!

    Finally received the pictures from the tinting place! I did 40% Crystalline Tint from Elite Window Tinting in Clackamas, Oregon. It costs $800 for 7 windows. I didn't do the top strip of the windshield, but it's around $80 extra. Before Pictures After Pictures

    MyNissanLeaf.com License plate frame?

    Hmm, I'm not sure about the cafepress frames. I'd be afraid that they cover the Oregon stickers on the bottom left and bottom right of my license plate.
