Another similar situation here with a 2017. My wife called me from the DC Beltway yesterday morning, saying she got a "Motor power is limited" dash warning. Fortunately it went away by the time the car slowed to 45 mph so she didn't end up on the side of the road. It didn't happen initially when...
This was an upgrade to the LED bar style DRLs that I'd installed per this thread. The LEDs were starting to fail and I wasn't thrilled with the visibility from the get-go. My solution was "angel eye" LED fog lights from AliExpress installed into factory fog light brackets. I think they work...
I'll echo a similar experience with the Goodyears versus the Michelins:
Better dry grip
Less steering feedback
Better wet grip
Quieter (though it's hard to remember back to when the car was new)
I don't track efficiency closely, so no comment there. We didn't have any snow to speak of this...
I put on a set of 4 of the ElectricDrive tires yesterday. My local tire shop was able to get them next day for $216/ea (just the tire). I also measured the full tread depth at 11/32". After a short drive, my observations compared to the original Michelins that were worn to 4/32":
Better ride...
Wow, tires have shot up in price this year. I was planning to replace the original Michelins with the same, but they are $250/tire at TireRack! (The H-rated Bolt tire of the same size is $244.). Maybe I'll go with the ElectricDrives. I was satisfied with the quietness of the OE tires, but am...
Wish I'd seen this earlier! I made one from a new Nissan cap. I bled the brakes with it yesterday and it's leak-free at 15 psi with fluid in the power bleeder. The reservoir cap was $13 (I was ordering other items, so shipping was negligible). I used a glue gun. A quick web search indicated that...
I took the risk and bought a used Altima spare on eBay, knowing that it will be difficult to fit around my 2" Torklift Ecohitch. It should arrive in the next week or so. I removed the undertray and took some photos per TonyWilliams' now somewhat dated request.
Hitch looking rearward toward LH...
I don't think it's a safety issue as long as it's not interfering with steering the car. You might enjoy and get some value out of the ride quality improvement by replacing the strut assemblies if you're going to keep it for several more years.
I've borrowed spring compressors from AutoZone...
Ultimately I only replaced the strut mounts (KYB; because I had them) and added the spacers. I was tempted to buy the complete KYB strut assembly (from Rock Auto) because they are easy to install. With your year and miles that seems like a better call. Just be aware that the KYB strut bearing...
The images in the 1st post are dead links. @UBUYGAS or others — do you have photos to share? I'd like to install an Altima spare in the dead space hidden by the plastic cover under the load floor.
I have a 2" Ecohitch and also need to assess compatibility.
My car had both the axle clicking noise and a different click coming from the brake pads shifting in the calipers. The dealer performed the axle nut TSB and we haven't heard that click since. They also "lubricated" the brakes, and it went away for a while, but has returned. Point being, while...

That was true for us until I installed the spacers... from within a couple months of new!
What year is your car?
Your post reminded me to open up the KYB bearings that were in my car for about a month. Similar design to the OEM part. The KYB bearings made much more noise than the stockers, so...
