I am thinking of getting a plug-in blanket for back-seat passengers to use during a long drive to family this winter. Does anybody here know whether that will help with range? If so, any suggested brands to seek/avoid?

On slower speeds, no doubt it's best to build speed downhill then shed it when on the level, but I was wondering about higher speeds. The drop off in efficiency above 60 or 70 makes me think it would be better to hold the speed while on the downhill and regenerate the batteries. ... Any thoughts...

I am looking to take my Leaf (2020 S Plus) for a longer day-trip for work. My location will be near a fast-charge station, and I was wondering: What are the pros & cons (if any) of doing the fast charge immediately on rolling into town vs immediately before leaving?

Charging my Leaf for the first time as we speak. The charge timer is *off*, but the heat is running when the car if turned off. When I turn the car "On" the heater turns off, but obviously I can't leave it that way. How do I turn the heater off? Again - timed charge is off.

We have a 20a 240v dryer outlet, ~20 feet from where the car would charge. I've poked around for 16a EVSEs on here, and found plenty of discussion buried in other topics, but was wonder if anybody has recommendations )or warnings) for particular brands/models. Thanks in advance.
