The battery pack is the OPs property plain and simple.
I plan to keep mine as well.
A replacement costs $6500.
keep the core and it still costs $6500 simple.
... And Tom... to say Nissan can...
3.6 over two years without resetting.
I never use ECO, only use 'B' in town and 'D' on the highway.
Floor it everywhere! fun car to drive!
I have observed an average 10-12 Gid loss over the same two years which seems pretty good to me so far.
The Summers seem to generate the most loss of...
I specifically had the dealer avoid the P3227 update!
However, My battery seems to be holding up rather well.
Over roughly two years and 15k miles on my 2013 \ I have lost an average of 10 Gids at 100% charge. (272 new \ 262 now.)
How can I help? I have and track using the LeafDD.
Resetting for one trip defeats the purpose of my question as I know 85Mph over the same distance would be less miles \ kWh than 80Mph in one trip.
I'm looking for Forum users averages and my question is to those who do not watch the battery gauge going down so intently or are fast drivers.

So...
Yup, sounds like an update did your GOM in.
Sadly, too late this time for you to help this situation... But it is also a really good idea to get to know your dealers head LEAF specialist if you can manage it.

This sounds like the most likely scenario and makes sense...
Yup, I did not even think about IOS8... The timing seems correct.
Thanks for the close it out tip... I will give that a shot.
Hope they fix it as it's really annoying when the app used to be pretty much without bugs.
I also agree...
So about a month or so ago my official Nissan IOS LEAF app starts throwing this error:
"The network connection was lost."
This happens anytime I send a command to charge \ turn on climate control \ get a status update etc.
It seems the car still performs the request as expected but the error...

It is discussed in length on the forums... a subsequent search will provide much more info on the topic.
Not at all, Tesla is doing it very right... it's an awesome car for sure.
Elon Musk is my favorite entrepreneur extraordinaire.
The history books will remember him fondly and Tesla makes an awesome car that has done very much to further the EV platform than most.
