$35k Model 3 doesn't exist. It has never been shown, can't be ordered, probably 2019. Can start comparing to 2019 LEAF instead. With the current string of autopilot accidents, its likely NTSB or NHTSA will end up requiring it be heavily modified.

I find it interesting that it took days to determine if autopilot was engaged or not, but everyone, include Elon, immediately stated as fact that the car was traveling at 60 mph.

Actually I believe quickly deep cycling the battery is not harmful. It’s worse to let it sit, especially hot, at the extremes. Either very high state of charge or very low. You can charge it and while parked run the heater to drain the battery without adding miles.
