    DRONE STRIKE! I'm not kidding...

I saw this thread linked from the heli forums I post on. What kind of idiot flies their Phantom over a crowded freeway? I guess since I fly the "you're going to die it my heli hits you size," I keep them away from people and property, and wouldn't even dream of flying my semi harmless quad...

SF BayLEAFs - e-NV200 Ride & Drives and Showcase May 28

Evernote has a Blink DCFC on hand, and if anyone needs a charge, Boardwalk is right across the freeway with our DCFC up and running as well. See you guys there!

    100 Mile Club, 200 km, 300 km, 200 Mile Club (24kWh LEAF)

    I still think I'm fancy because I did 116 in a 2011. 188 is crazy.

    Point Person(s) at Boardwalk Nissan?

I'm still here! I've cycled out of sales for the most part, though I did just do a stint back in Nissan helping run the store for awhile. Alas, I'm the young guy that speaks Google, so I end up doing the marketing for all of the stores. My next project is going to push the Spark EV...

2012 Sep Plugin Sales Discussion : Volt 2,851; Leaf 984

You can always do what I did. I leased for 36 months, not 24, and wrote Boardwalk a check for $2,500. State is going to cut me that check back, and my payment is in the $200 range. Net to me is $0 out of pocket once I get the check back.

What Kind of LEAF owner are you

    - Lessee - Constant climate (gotta love NorCal) - Those with access to a quick-charge network (Blink DCFC 3 miles from my place, four level 2's at work) - Commuter (set 5 day a week commute) - Medium mileage (13k a year between a few cars) - High-speed driving (either 70+ mph freeway or a ton...

Brendan from Boardwalk is going to Nashville TN...

I was there as a part of a focus group to let NNA know what the sales slump has been like this summer, the dealers reaction, and what we believe Nissan can do to fix it. Along the way I was able to address a lot of issues LEAF owners have faced, the lack of quick chargers, hot climate issues...

Thanks for all of the input everyone. I had a great time in TN, and passed along a lot of great input. I guess Nissan has an issue with people hogging the level 3... Solar charging.

The official "I got my Leaf" thread

Well, over two years have passed since I started doing marketing, ordering, training, and sales for Boardwalk, and we've dominated LEAF sales in the US. Why didn't I get my Black SL last year? The love of my life lived too far, and the range, and our charging issues kept it from making sense...

I'll try to make it to this. I'm going to Nashville to help Nissan come up with a sales and marketing strategy for LEAF, and I'd love to pick your brains one last time before I go on the 10th.

...to meet with Nissan, and I'd like see if I can pass along some input of your dealership experience at time of purchase, then again while servicing, what the ownership experience is like, etc. Basically, since I've sold more LEAFs than anyone, and demand is drying up, I'm trying to help...

"Can you drive that electric car in the rain?" and other ???

When I work at Green Fairs showing the car off, I hear a ton of funny questions. I don't mind the usual seemingly oddball questions, but I get rather annoyed with people who hang around for 5 minutes who want to debate why the car makes no sense to anyone. "Seems alright, but you can't drive...

EVSE Awning/Cover issues in Palo Alto, CA

Update: A rep from Palo Alto just contacted me after seeing this post, and mentioned that Palo Alto does not have such a requirement, and my customer had her EVSE install permit approved. Odd situation with some mis information, but all is well and resolved.
