I saw this thread linked from the heli forums I post on. What kind of idiot flies their Phantom over a crowded freeway? I guess since I fly the "you're going to die it my heli hits you size," I keep them away from people and property, and wouldn't even dream of flying my semi harmless quad...

Evernote has a Blink DCFC on hand, and if anyone needs a charge, Boardwalk is right across the freeway with our DCFC up and running as well. See you guys there!

You can always do what I did. I leased for 36 months, not 24, and wrote Boardwalk a check for $2,500. State is going to cut me that check back, and my payment is in the $200 range. Net to me is $0 out of pocket once I get the check back.

I was there as a part of a focus group to let NNA know what the sales slump has been like this summer, the dealers reaction, and what we believe Nissan can do to fix it. Along the way I was able to address a lot of issues LEAF owners have faced, the lack of quick chargers, hot climate issues...

Thanks for all of the input everyone. I had a great time in TN, and passed along a lot of great input. I guess Nissan has an issue with people hogging the level 3... Solar charging.

Well, over two years have passed since I started doing marketing, ordering, training, and sales for Boardwalk, and we've dominated LEAF sales in the US. Why didn't I get my Black SL last year? The love of my life lived too far, and the range, and our charging issues kept it from making sense...

I'll try to make it to this. I'm going to Nashville to help Nissan come up with a sales and marketing strategy for LEAF, and I'd love to pick your brains one last time before I go on the 10th.

Update: A rep from Palo Alto just contacted me after seeing this post, and mentioned that Palo Alto does not have such a requirement, and my customer had her EVSE install permit approved. Odd situation with some mis information, but all is well and resolved.
