I have a 2011 Leaf SL with a new battery installed under warranty in 2016. The new battery has about 20k miles on it and still shows 12 bars.
Options include the Chademo Quick Charge port and the rear cargo storage cubby. This model year has the switch to disable the fake running sound...
I have a Clipper Creek LCS-20P Level 2 220V charger with a NEMA 14-30P plug for a dryer outlet. I used this charger for about six months inside a garage to charge my 2011 Leaf and it worked great. I never used this charger outdoors. This charger is very small and I currently carry it around in...
I recently towed mine with a Nissan Titan and Uhaul tow dolly from Dallas to Baton Rouge (about 450 miles) and had no issues. It was my first time towing anything and had to figure everything out myself. No one at the dealership would help hook it up. After getting the car strapped to the dolly...
I've only had the new battery about a week. I bought it with 9 bars six weeks ago for a steal because the range was about 50 miles and the used car dealership couldn't move it. They had no idea they could get a new battery under warranty. Now the GOM is showing about 120 miles in the morning...
I had to reenable carwings on the radio unit in the car when I got mine back from the battery replacement. I tried to check on the battery via carwings too since I live a little ways from my dealer but kept getting a timeout. Some things were reset in the car, while others things didn't reset.
I figured it out and found the right info. It finally dropped that 9th bar this afternoon and now I am trying to get my local Nissan to schedule the service. Not the easiest thing trying to explain what I want to receptionists that answer the phone!

Nissan said the in service date is when the car was sold which was Sept 2012 which makes the warranty over in Sept 2017. The carfax also confirms it was first sold in Sept 2012. Is that not accurate?
Can someone help me decode this Leafspy report? These screenshots were made after a full night of charging. The car said it was fully charged. I just bought a 2011 SL with 34k miles and showing 9 bars. Nissan confirmed I have 18 months left on the warranty so I'm patiently waiting for that 9th...
Update: So I passed on this particular Leaf and got another one with 32k miles, 9 bars, and 16 months left on the battery warranty (confirmed by Nissan customer service). Hope to lose that last bar before then!
If anyone wants this leaf I passed on it's at Central Kia in Plano, Texas. They are...
