Personally - my 2015 LEAF gives me maybe 35-45 miles of total range in the winter, on cold (0 degrees F), snowy days when using the heater modestly. I'm afraid to put snow tires on my LEAF for fear of losing even more range. I need all the battery I can get just to make this car work year...

I believe this is what you really want. And it has an ODB2 interface. I've got one on order.
With Apple's CarPlay or Android Auto you literally have your phone maps on your infotainment screen. I can't think of anything better, certainly not the crap nav we are all stuck with now. Losing in car/nav GPS is the future!
I made my suggestion above. How about you read the full thread? Buy a gasser until the 200 mile cars are available. I'm guessing in Colorado that will be mid 2017 at the earliest since automakers don't like to sell EVs outside of where they have to.
