Has anyone in the colder states found a source for steelies?

Or will the wheels from an altima fit? I am conducting an experiment and need some cheap wheels.

Supposedly Altima wheels have the right bolt circle/pattern and hub diameter - just need to confirm that the offset is correct.

Tirerack.com lists the offset for steel wheels on a 2010 Altima as 42mm - IIRC that is within a couple mm of the LEAF.

Yep, it appears to be good.

Just might want to double check that there's 2mm of clearance on the inside between the wheel/tire and strut, but it shouldn't be a problem.

Just called tire rack. A 16x6.5 Altima steelie, 42mm offset, is $56/wheel. Not sure why I couldnt find it on their website. oh well. Now to find some used Altima take off wheels! Should be able to get a set of 4 used wheels for 100 bux.

I'm seeing 2011 Altima rims on CL for sale. Will they definitely fit the Leaf? They look like alloy rims, not steel...

EDIT: the ad says they are "ELBrus rims."
