I have a 2018 Leaf and Android Auto "unexpectedly" crashes all the time. I have a Oneplus 6T with the latest version of Android running. Is there a firmware/software update for the Leaf that I am missing? Wondering if others are having the same issue.

Thanks,
JC

Try different cable (high quality) and diffrent phone screen resolution. I have similar problems in our Clarity, out Leaf does not have Android Auto.

Same for me. Had the car two days and continually crashing. Sometimes OK for a minute other times it lasts about 10 minutes. Unplugging and plugging back in immediately works but not what you want to be doing while driving. Will try different cables and battery optimisation changes to see if that helps.

I had to uninstall android auto from my phone, but only after an attempt to charge my phone resulted in it being booted and exited multiple times in a short period. Before then it worked OK the two or so times I used it.

I just got my 2019 SV Yesterday. And Android auto is crashing every few minutes also. Unplug cable then replug and it is good for some more few minutes. Phone : Google Pixel 2 with Latest Android. Anker cable. Works 100% in My Civic 2017 and Legacy 2018.

Edit: Finally the problem is reoccurring again :(

This cable has fixed the issue so far. https://www.monoprice.com/product?p_id=14933

It's not you guys and it is not a cable.

I wrote about this in high detail to Google and Nissan has exchanged my usb port, but no luck.

Here is the thread: https://support.google.com/androidauto/forum/AAAA6SY52nIu4gM1QNbbDo/?hl=en&gpf=%23!topic%2Fandroid-auto%2Fu4gM1QNbbDo%3Bcontext-place%3Dtopicsearchin%2Fandroid-auto%2Fnissan%2420leaf

And Google did report this issue to Nissan. So Nissan has to fix this (if anyone knows somebody in Nissan dev team...). You can see this below.
