Who can explain:
- By what formula is calculated the residual mileage on the instrument panel?
- What percentage corresponds to the scale of the residual capacity of the battery on the pointer?
Interested in 12,11,10,9 and 8 divisions.

http://www.electricvehiclewiki.com/Battery#Battery_Capacity_Behavior - this is definitely in the '11 service manual. However, it was apparently removed from later versions (model years?) for an unknown reason. I recall seeing it on the '11 service manual myself and it being missing in either or both the '12 and '13 service manual.

In addition to the existing lithium-ion battery coverage provided under the Nissan Electric Vehicle Limited Warranty for defects in materials or workmanship, the lithium-ion battery for your 2011 or 2012 Nissan LEAF is now also warranted against capacity loss below nine (9) bars (or approximately below 70 percent) as shown on the vehicle’s battery capacity level gauge for a period of 60 months or 60,000 miles, whichever comes first.
IIRC, the warranties in the booklets don't give any sort of claim about % vs. bars. I can't find any such claim about % in the '13 US warranty booklet. I don't recall seeing any such thing in either the '16 or '17 US warranty booklet.

The best word I can find to describe mileage and capacity dashboard info is hoodwink.

Please supply us with a simple gauge:
Usable kWh available

Cell voltage in graph format (like LS) would also be extremely helpful.

Don't know what you're asking. Those are really weird terms to use.

Are you talking about the guess-o-meter on the right side that's supposed to show the distance to empty on current state of charge? If so, we have no idea. It's a black box to us that tries to guess your remaining range based upon an unknown sampling rate (that may have changed on '13+ Leafs) and unknown amount of recent driving history. It also goes up/down depending on whether you turn on the heater or HVAC and IIRC, also if you turn on eco mode on/off.

The manual labels the GOM "driving range".

If you're asking about this, don't bother wasting time on this: http://www.mynissanleaf.com/viewtopic.php?p=271853#p271853.
