Suppose I have a 2013 or newer Leaf with the 6.Kw charger on board. What type of home charging station and charging habit would provide better battery longevity:

1) Charging with a L1 charger to 80% at nights
2) Charging with a L2 charger to 80% at nights

For purpose of this, suppose I have enough time at night to reach 80% (6.6 kw makes it doable) and I do all my recharging at home.
Bottom line: Is it better for the battery to use L1 or L2 charger?

Thanks!

It makes no difference in longevity, as far as we can tell. L-2 is more efficient. L-1 can keep the pack warm enough in frigid weather to avoid the battery heater running. QC (L-3) is the only charging method that produces enough extra heat to be an issue in hot weather.

The charger, BTW is built into the car. The charging cable, or "EVSE," just provides a safe connection for current to flow to the charger.

Yes sorry, I do know the difference between the charger inside the vehicle and the EVSE. It's just a misuse of words. my bad.
