Capacity Bar loss

Just lost a bar on my 2011 leaf. I have 36000 miles and 9 bars. I have one y e ar left on the warrenty. I hope it will be down to 8 bars in a year I drive 100 miles a day.

Not knowing where you are or your charging habits makes it hard to predict...

I charge to 100% with timer every night and do 1 qc per day to 70% every day. Some days I charge more than once.

I think you are pretty much guaranteed to lose another bar within the next year, seeing your charging habits. The more the battery degrades, you need to charge to 100% all the time, and the more deeply you discharge it, so the faster it degrades. The more you QC, and the more often you charge each day, and the faster you drive, the hotter the battery gets, which speeds up the degradation. I lost my 10th bar a few months ago, and at the rate I'm losing capacity it will only be another 5-6 months until I lose bar #9.

Mmmm thanks for the info. I wonder what the track record of the replacement batteries are.

I dropped my 4th bar today at 43000 miles. My miles per charge is 50 to 55
