6% SOH loss in one month

So, if been keeping track of my SOH numbers on my recently purchased used 2011 Nissan Leaf.
And I've seen a drop in one month form 81% to 76%.
That seems pretty abnormal to me.
That would put me down allmost 25% in 3 months if that continues.

In what State? Near what City?

Hmm...sorta sounds like a capacity bar reset, with no more information provided. How many miles? How many capacity bars?

Did you buy it from a Nissan dealership? If so, I would demand to see the results of the 3 or 4 battery tests that your Leaf should have had, and see how many bars it showed after each test. There is another thread on this site about a woman who bought a Leaf that had the BMS reset:

By following the paperwork trail she was able to prove that the dealership had reset the BMS, but I don't believe she had to pursue litigation because she also lost the 9th bar and qualified for a new Lizard battery, installed by a different dealer IIRC.

Perhaps you could try contacting that Aaron McAfee guy that helped that other Leaf owner. He may be able to help you get the paper trail you need. He is a Master Certified Tech at Bill Korum's Puyallup Nissan:

How many bars did your LEAF have when you bought it?

My SOH dropped from 88% to 82% in 9 days after having the P3227 update. Is it possible the car was serviced right before you bought it and the update was applied?
