Has anyone else watched these? I realize it's a 'derivative' work (not sure I can identify anything original/unique), but does anyone have problems with any of the material?

OK, Here's a review of the book:

http://criticalenvironmentalism.org/2011/09/24/the-crash-course/#more-96

First and last paragraphs from the review:
There are many books on peak oil but none quite like The Crash Course. James Howard Kunstler (The Long Emergency), John Michael Greer (The Ecotechnic Future), and Jared Diamond (Collapse) may have written the defining narratives of our post-oil civilization, but Chris Martenson has written the field manual. The Crash Course is a comprehensive summary of the peak oil literature including recommendations of how individuals can prepare for the adjustment.
This is neither a book for social scientists (who would observe it contains scant theoretical underpinning) nor policymakers (who would argue it has no actionable recommendations beyond themes of individual preparedness). The Crash Course is instead written for those interested in a comprehensive review of the most current peak oil literature from an insider perspective. And toward that purpose, readers would be hard pressed to find a more seasoned guide.

Chris Martenson delivers keynote talk at 4th Annual Biophysical Economics Conference.

Do we have 40 years to move to alternative power?

Do we have 40-60 years to move to electric transportation?

Why aren't we getting an accurate message from our economists, politicians, and business leaders?

I stumbled on this video series over the weekend and think it does an excellent job showing the intersection of the overall economy, energy, and the environment.

OMG, if I'm not mistaken, this is read/narrated by Peter Joseph, of the Zeitgeist trilogy. His cadence and intonation sound a lot like the narrator therein and, given the content, it wouldn't be that surprising. Does anyone know who "for sure" is narrating this? Is it asserted somewhere that it is indeed Chris Martenson? Not that it matters that much compared to the content :x, but it would still be interesting to know...

It's definitely Martenson. ;) Compare the voice with the presentation in post 5 from the Gund Institute - that's Martenson as well.
