New Leaf owner in Maui

I'm excited to announce that we have added the Leaf to our rental car fleet in Maui. Our goal is to offer the most environmentally friendly cars available, and we're thrilled that we were able to get the Leaf. For those of you familiar with Maui, we rented the car to someone who stayed in Hana while on Maui and she said that the owner of the solar powered Bed & Breakfast she stayed at was excited about her plugging the Leaf into his solar system. The Leaf used about 75% of it's battery bank to get to Hana.

I've driven the Leaf many times since we got it, and I'm impressed with how the car drives. We're working with a local gas station owner about adding a DC fast charger to his station, so hopefully that will work out.

In appreciation of having a place to post this here we're offering a 10% discount off Leaf & our other rentals to forum members.

Currently the only hotel we know of with a charge station is the Wailea Marriott - http://www.marriott.com/hotels/travel/hnmmc-wailea-beach-marriott-resort-and-spa/. They have two in their parking garage. More hotels and other locations will be installing charge stations soon because Hawaii passed a law that requires certain businesses to have charge stations.
