Hi again, another noob question. I have been scouring the forum and the Youtubes trying to find explanations for the different acronyms that are mentioned when Leafspy is discussed, like SOC, AHr, etc, and frankly more importantly, what values are good or bad values to see! I bet it's been gone over before here on the forum, I just can't find it. My Google-fu is weak. Would anyone happen to have some links?

Thanks!

There is documentation built into the app's help. It also contains directions on mailing the author for a PDF of the same docs.

I would look at AHr (amp hours), SOH ("state of health") and Hx (an older health value). Don't worry about SOC.

I'd also make sure the odometer value in Leaf Spy is within a mile or two of the odometer in the car.

My used '13 Leaf (built 5/2013, I reside and work in a hotter part of the SF Bay Area) lost its first capacity bar 2 days ago. Stats at http://www.mynissanleaf.com/viewtopic.php?p=511915#p511915.

Can you update your location info via your user name in the upper right > User Control Panel > Profile tab? That way, we don't need to ask in future posts/threads or do sleuthing to deduce it.

What are your daily driving needs in terms of miles? How much city vs. highway? Will you have the ability to charge at your work/destinations?

Perfect, thanks so much for the explanations and the advice! I'll reach out to the Leafspy dev.

I live in Reno, NV. My commute is 7 miles one way, and my employer has free charging stations for the foreseeable future. So it's almost rude of me NOT to drive a LEAF as my commuter. ;)
