Hi,

I recently bought a used 2013 Leaf. It came from Arizona and hence has 17k miles with 2 bars lost already.
I was trying to find out more information about my battery health to see how close I am to being able to claim the battery capacity loss warranty from Nissan. Unfortunately I can't find a single link on the forum to an ODB2 reader that is known to work with Leafspy (android).

I looked around on amazon and found this:

http://www.amazon.com/BAFX-Products-Bluetooth-diagnostics-Android/dp/B005NLQAHS/ref=pd_sbs_263_2?ie=UTF8&refRID=1F0S81S6REBRQ5Q689G4

Would this be ok or can someone please provide a link or the exact name of a product I can look up and buy? I really don't want to go through the buy and return circus on this.

Thanks!

I ordered 2 from Amazon but only tried 1, which worked.

I believe I'm using http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009F4JHHO?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00.
I also ordered http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00PJPHEBO?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00 which I don't think I've tried yet.

Sorry, my car is parked far away 2 buildings and across a highway away.

I ordered 2 because I was in a hurry to get stats on used cars and was hoping 1 would work. If something this cheap doesn't work, oh well.

I'm using them w/a Verizon Samsung Galaxy S4.

I purchased the iCAR3 on Amazon and it works very well. It is small, shuts itself down when car is off, and my phone connects with no intervention needed. I have an iPhone so I can't speak to your needs directly.

I definitely am using the 1st one from Amazon. It has ELM 327 printed in orange on the top.

Will try the 2nd one, when I get a chance.

Link to WiFi adapter Turbo3 is using.

Although you can use Bluetooth adapter with Android and that is what I am using, the cost of WiFi adapters (which are required with iOS) have come down in price a lot and have much greater range.

Many of the Chinese knockoff Bluetooth adapters eliminated a board and are not compatible any more.
So buying one is problematic as you do not know which will work.
Better to avoid the hassle and go WiFi.
I still plan to order WiFi soon mainly due to greater range.
Will allow continued monitoring while charging with phone inside the house.

I finally tried the Panlong adapter I ordered in 2015 (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00PJPHEBO?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00). It seems to work, as well. So, I got lucky with 2/2 working.
