I found this article pretty cool for the bold DIY fan. As a professional EV installer for Economy Wiring Company Inc in Seattle, WA I have seen some pretty cool technologies related to the EV field but none so amazing as this guy. The site also shows the science behind it, allowing EV dreamers to come up with alternative chargers. The site seems to be ran by Bob Bruninga, a member of the PEIEEE National Committee on Transportation and Aerospace Electric Vehicle Association of DC. He lists the following website on the subject matter. http://www.aprs.org/charging-DIY.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Lets here your thoughts on the subject of DIY EV Chargers the good and the bad.

Ingineer, the guy behind the "EVSE Upgrade" you hear so much about here, usually has plenty of informative things to say about such systems. If he doesn't chime in here, you can always check his back catalog: :D
