Hi folks: I purchased a new 2016 Leaf recently and noticed there is little to no undercoating at the front bottom edge of each rear wheel well. The white paint of the car is clearly visible in this area, almost like the factory intentionally did not spray undercoating (black) , or that there is a plastic fender lining missing. I inspected four or five new 2017 models at the dealer and they all looked identical - not undercoated and no inner fender lining. Dirt/small rocks tend to accumulate in this area, particularly a horizontal, cupped area in the fender. Since I didn't want any rust, I pulled the wheels and undercoated these areas with 3M rubberized undercoating. Looks great now, much more 'finished'. Has anyone else noticed this issue? Thanks.
Richard
