Golden, CO needs L3 and more L2

I have gone back and forth a few times to visit my son at school in Golden. Really disappointing there is no L3 anywhere near Golden and no L2 near downtown or the university.

Anyone aware of any plans for units in that area? A 2-hour round trip has been turning into 4 because of the extra charging stops we have to make. I think it's probably going to be back to my wife's earth murdering SUV for these trips until something pops up on plugshare.

Looks like I'm getting my wish. A new charger popped up at Ethos Car Share today. According to Plugshare it will be available during business hours. The site is right next to the Safeway just off campus.

We saw Ethos last time we were there. Not sure what the story is on them as their website is really out of date. http://www.ethoscarshare.comWhen we drove by, it is basically an old gas station with a lot full of Coda sedans.

More locations is always better. Glad you should be able to use the LEAF instead of the gas guzzler.

Huh?

There is another new charger in the Golden area, near apartments downtown. But yes, we really could use a Chademo in this area, the Empire Nissan store is moving to a new location in the next year and I was told that they plan to put in an L3 once they move, we'll see. I don't know of any other plans.
