I usually do not write reviews and recommendations, however, I must let you know of this great place.

I lived in the area for 14 years and just recently discovered this gem. The restaurant features fantastic food, however, what impressed me even more is their commitment to renewable sources. I feel terrible for not stopping by earlier.
In 2009 they erected their own 110KW wind mill called "The Big Windy". Most people think it was the Village of Schiller Park that did it, but it was the Great family that mortgaged the restaurant and build the Big Windy.

They also have 3 EVSE J1772 quick charging stations for their customers.
We owe them a visit for sure. You will not be disappointed in their prices nor the food. The BBQ ribs were the best I ever had. My vegetarian wife claims that Rigatoni in Vodka sauce was the best pasta dish she ever had, and trust me, she knows pasta!
The ambient is fantastic. The hand carved bar, wait staff, the service, the food, the location, the history this place has it all. And it is a family own restaurant, not a franchise.
BTW, I am not affiliated with them, I am just a very satisfied customer.
